Happy 52nd Independe

Happy 52nd Independence Day, Grenada!

COL partners with the Ministry of Education Grenada to advance higher education, skills for work, and technology-enabled learning in Grenada, primarily through the Virtual University for Small States of the Commonwealth (VUSSC).

In recent years, COL has supported efforts to strengthen the quality and accessibility of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) and Open Educational Resources (OER) through regional working sessions and policy development frameworks. COL has also been working closely with T.A. Marryshow Community College, Grenada (TAMCC) to strengthen Online and Distance Learning (ODL) effectiveness, build teacher capacity in designing and teaching online courses, create digital content and authentic assessment, and support online learners.

Most recently, the Advancing Caribbean Teachers (ACT) in Mathematics project was soft launched in Grenada. The initiative focuses on addressing mathematics underperformance among learners by strengthening teacher capacity in conceptual understanding, gender-responsive pedagogy, and effective use of technology.

We look forward to deepening our partnership with Grenada and working together to expand opportunities for learners and educators in the years ahead!
