Since February 2019, COL has been collaborating with the University of South Africa (Unisa) to prepare Unisa for its upcoming 2020 Council of Higher Education (CHE) institutional review. CHE has already implemented two quality assurance cycles, the first comprising of institutional audits of individual HEIs for which COL had previously collaborated with Unisa as well. With the beginning of the third cycle of quality assurance approaching, COL has been undertaking various activities to support Unisa in their development of their quality assurance self-evaluation report and prepare the institution for a mock trial audit, in December 2019.
