The National University of Lesotho (NUL) is offering new distance education programmes, thanks to support provided by COL through the Virtual University for Small States of the Commonwealth. NUL’s Institute of Extra-Mural Studies is currently offering two Diplomas in Communications Studies and Business Management, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Business and Entrepreneurship. These courses are offered by distance learning, and plans are underway for the introduction of more programmes.

COL and NUL have been working together since 2016 to build capacity at the university for the use of open educational resources (OER) in teaching and learning, as well as to familiarise management with OER.
