It is with great sorrow that we, at the Commonwealth of Learning, have learned of the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth ll.

As the Head of the Commonwealth for over 70 years and a constant and steady presence in our lives, Queen Elizabeth II has remained an iconic personality, respected throughout the Member States for her service, dignity, and dedication – values enshrined in the Commonwealth Charter. Her Majesty’s life of service has inspired all of us at the Commonwealth of Learning to reach the last person in the queue with opportunities for learning that lead to sustainable development through economic growth, equity and environmental conservation.

On behalf of the Commonwealth of Learning, I extend our deepest condolences to members of the Royal Family and to all Her Majesty’ s subjects within the Commonwealth who mourn her loss. May Her Majesty rest in peace.
