Recognising the importance of partnerships in meeting the need for a dramatic expansion in access to all levels of schooling, COL actively engages with ministries and other stakeholder to build partnerships that would lead to the improvement of education systems and the provision of quality educational opportunities for all.

COL’s Senior Adviser: Open Schooling, Dr Johannes Hendrikz, visited the Trinidad and Tobago’s Ministry of Education in 2018 to discuss the progress made with the finalisation of an agreement to launch the Open/Innovative School Model in the country. He met with the Permanent Secretary, Ms Lenor Baptiste Simmons, Chief Education Officer, Mr Harrilal Seecheran, the Director of Educational Planning, Mrs Lisa Henry David, and other senior officers of the ministry.
