Enrolment is now open for the second offering of the popular Commonwealth of Learning (COL) MOOC “The Blue Economy: Sustainability, Innovation and our Ocean.”

Offered in collaboration with the James Michel Blue Economy Research Institute, University of Seychelles, and supported by COL, this free, five-week MOOC will run from 29 October to 2 December 2023. It is ideal for persons interested in learning how to harness opportunities in the coastal and marine space to drive economic growth.

Through discussion forums with experts, videos, readings and interaction with other learners, participants will explore key components of the Blue Economy and link these to practical examples. The self-assessment model means that learners take quizzes only when they are ready, with certificates awarded to eligible learners.
